Who we are
Know Us By Our Love, Inc is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services Registration Number: CH47194. We are formed to walk with men and women bound by addiction, incarceration, or brokenness—offering safe haven, accountability, and the love of Christ.
We believe that Your past doesn’t disqualify you—it prepares you; we help people find their path forward on the FREEDOM ROAD.
FREEDOM ROAD
You don’t find the Freedom Road on a map.
It’s not paved with clean lines or lit by streetlamps. It starts in the shadows—behind bars, in broken homes, in the alleyways where dreams got jumped and left for dead. It winds through addiction, betrayal, rage, and regret. It’s the road most people avoid, because it’s messy. It’s hard. It’s haunted.
But for those who’ve walked it, it’s the only road that matters.
The Freedom Road is for the ones who’ve been locked up—by steel doors or by shame. It’s for the ones who’ve been told they’re too far gone, too broken, too dangerous to be loved. It’s for the ones who’ve buried friends, lost family, and watched their own reflection disappear behind the fog of survival.
This road doesn’t pretend. It doesn’t dress up pain in polite words or hide the scars. It honors the truth: that healing hurts before it helps, and freedom costs more than most are willing to pay.
But here’s the thing—this road leads somewhere.
It leads to peace. Not the kind you fake, but the kind that lets you sleep at night. It leads to health, to healing, to the kind of love that doesn’t flinch when it sees your past. It leads to community—real people who’ve been through it and still show up. It leads to purpose, to a new life, to a future that isn’t chained to yesterday.
The Freedom Road ain’t easy. But it’s worth it.
And you don’t walk it alone.
We walk it together—with grit, with grace, and with the kind of hope that refuses to die.
Because we believe in second chances. We believe in redemption. We believe that no one is beyond the reach of love.
So if you’re tired of the detours, the dead ends, the lies that say you’ll never change—come walk with us.
This is the Freedom Road.
And it’s calling your name
Jacob and Lina Jeffcoat
founderS
In 2020, Lina had a heartfelt prayer with God, seeking guidance for a mission that would provide recovery and a safe haven for adults and eventually children, freeing them from the chains of addiction and bondage. During this prayer, she received a profound vision: men living in multiple homes, growing vegetables, and learning essential life skills. This vision was not just about agriculture; it was about teaching these men how to cultivate their lives, nurture their spirits, and grow in their faith.
Jacob and Lina have a history of helping to minister to the broken-hearted through the Celebrate Recovery program, helping people establish a genuine relationship with Christ, so they can experience God's love for themselves and extend that love to others. Their presence in Tampa Bay prisons has only just been the beginning—a stepping stone to build relationships with inmates and demonstrate God's grace.
Over the years, Jacob and Lina have opened their home to several men, providing them with clothing, food, and a path to rehabilitation. They have dedicated their time and financial resources to support them. They pray with them, for them, and love them as brothers in Christ. Witnessing their baptisms has been a testament to the transformative power of God's love and grace.
Through these efforts, Jacob and Lina strive to create a community where individuals can find healing, growth, and a renewed sense of purpose. Their journey is one of faith, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those who need it most.
